Winchester 74: 22 LR auto loader

Today we’re going to look at another one of those classic old 22s - The Winchester model 74. A great hunting gun for small game as well as a plinker. These were produced from 1939 until 1952. They were also sent to the UK as part of the lend lease program in 1941. A version that was scoped with a silencer was supplied for the special operations executive (SOE) and for home defense in the case of a German invasion. Created and built to be an inexpensive rifle, by today’s standards they exhibit a high quality of construction and craftsmanship. Today we’re going to discuss, take down, and shoot indoors and out. Enjoy!
