48 Hours In… goes stateside for the very first time as we take the series to America. Mike Robertson, Tom Irwin and Tom Bullough visit the breathtaking Streamsong Resort in Florida, one of the most talked-about modern golf destinations in the USA. Uniquely, Streamsong is the only destination on the planet to bring together original designs from Coore & Crenshaw, Tom Doak, and Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner on one site. The team kick things off at The Chain, the resorts’s latest and most unique 19-hole short course, opened in 2023 and designed with matchplay in mind. From there, the focus turns to Streamsong’s three championship courses - Red, Blue and Black - set amongst a vast 16,000-acre site and carved through a dramatic, natural landscape that feels a world away from traditional American golf. The team also talk to David McLay Kidd, currently designing a fourth 18-hole course at the world-renowned resort, expected to open around 2027.
