Thundering Mantis - The Last Island | Roots Reggae | Hawaii | Relax | Dub | Chill out |Island Reggae

THUNDERING MANTIS - THE LAST ISLAND THE LAST ISLAND is a 15-track modern roots reggae and deep dub concept album. A stranger escapes a collapsing world shaped by war, surveillance, greed and environmental destruction. Across the water, he discovers a remote island near Jamaica where people appear to live according to different values. But the island is not a perfect paradise. As outside interests approach and old fears grow within the community, the stranger learns that freedom cannot survive through fear, blind protection or the concentration of power. The album combines organic roots reggae, deep dub, melodic bass, natural drums, offbeat guitars, warm Hammond organ, subtle horns and cinematic soundscapes. The island is not a place. The island is a choice.
