You Carry Me Through the Storms — by I Am Heavenbound “You Carry Me Through the Storms” is a song for anyone who has ever found themselves in a storm they did not choose and could not escape on their own. There are times in life when the winds seem too strong, the waves rise higher than we expected, and we wonder how we will ever make it through. Sometimes we pray for God to remove the storm, but instead, He gives us the grace and strength to walk through it. The Christian life does not mean that we will never face sorrow, loss, fear, disappointment, or difficult trials. But it does mean that we never have to face them alone. Jesus is still with us in the storm. When our strength is gone, He carries us. When fear tells us we cannot continue, His Word reminds us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. When we cannot see what lies ahead, we can still trust the One who already knows the way. The same Jesus who calmed the Sea of Galilee is still Lord over every storm His children face. Sometimes He speaks, “Peace, be still,” and changes the circumstances around us. Other times, He gives us His peace while the storm is still raging. Either way, He remains faithful. Isaiah 43:2 (KJV) “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee…” Psalm 46:1 (KJV) “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Isaiah 41:10 (KJV) “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God…” This song is a prayer of trust and a testimony of God's faithfulness. We may not understand why every storm is allowed to come, but we can know Who is holding us while we pass through it. The storm may be stronger than I am, but it will never be stronger than my God. And when I don't have the strength to keep going, I can rest in this precious truth: You carry me through the storms. May this song encourage anyone walking through anxiety, depression, grief, fear, sickness, loss, or another difficult season to turn again to the promises of God's Word and remember that Jesus Christ is still near. He has not abandoned you in the storm. #IAmHeavenbound #YouCarryMeThroughTheStorms #JesusChrist #ChristianMusic #SouthernGospel #GospelMusic #ChristianEncouragement #KingJamesBible #KJV #GodsPromises #TrustGod #FaithOverFear #FearThouNot #PerfectPeace #Anxiety #CastingAllYourCare #Isaiah4110 #Isaiah432 #Isaiah263 #GodIsMyRefuge #PeaceBeStill #FaithInJesus #GraceOfGod #GodIsFaithful #christiananxiety #christiandepression #christianbipolar
