Our ride to the Former Highest Point of the Philippine Highway System took an unexpected turn. We originally planned to visit the Kabayan Mummies in Benguet, but the route didn’t work out — so we pushed deeper into the mountains. That’s when we discovered Buguias, and its stunning vegetable terraces that weren’t even part of our itinerary.
