Filmed on a P&H Delphin 155 (16 foot sea kayak) My mate is in a Pyranha 9R2 (white water kayak) First time doing some proper surfing with my Greenland paddle too, it's slightly different, but works very well. Video gets off to a slow start, the action/waves/surfing picks up more around the middle. About the warning at the beginning: There are massive rocks near the top of the beach - many taller than a person, though most of these are easily visible apart from possibly high tide, the real danger is at low tide we found some more rocks and some very nasty looking rusty metal girders poking out of the sand, if you surfed and a wave dropped you on one of these at speed, it could do a lot of damage to the boat, or if you were the wrong way up could be quite a nasty injury. We had drifted quite far south by this time though, there might not be any directly by the car park i'm not sure. I put the disclaimer up because i don't want other people to see this and assume it's completely safe. If you want to try it, do your research first, ideally take a visit at low spring tide to walk up and down the beach to scope it out, and make your own decision.
