Gosport Golden Mile 2016

The Gosport Golden Mile and 5 km events are aimed at all abilities with the focus on local community spirit and promoting fitness as fun. So whether you are a fun runner, serious athlete, once a year hero or think you can crack the 4 minute mile… everyone is welcome. The event comprises of an official, chip timed, one mile distance run along the beautiful Stokes Bay, Gosport promenade. Followed by a mixed terrain 5 km, chip timed run. Choose your event or do “the double”. There will also be an 800m Wheelchair race along the Stokes Bay Promenade prior to the main events. All finishers will receive a participation medal and there will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category.
