The Least Cost Method (sometimes called the Low Cost Method or the Minimum Cost Method) is use to find the initial feasible solution. This method typically gets you closer to a solution than the Northwest Corner Method. The Stepping Stone Method is the second video in the series and is a good teaching tool to aid in the understanding of how to reach an optimal solution.
