Filmed with Marcus in Tennessee, this deeply personal installment finds him speaking candidly about his own mental health journey, including depression, bipolar disorder, therapy, and the importance of having people you can lean on for support. For his song, Marcus chose Wilco’s “Either Way,” a song he says he connected with in a profound way. Remarkably, he had never played it himself before the day we filmed. “Music tends to have a way of hearing you by speaking to you.” We’re incredibly grateful to Marcus for his honesty, openness, and willingness to use his own experience to help make these conversations easier for others to have.
