The Last Ride of 2102 for the 2026 Season

I recently had the incredible honor of witnessing the final journey of the steam locomotive for the 2026 season. I invite you to join me on this unforgettable experience through the heart of Pennsylvania coal country! Most clips were taken from the vestibule of Pullman car 'Hickory Run' or from the vestibule of the dome car located near the end of the train. The clips of the Lehigh gorge train and Pittstion excursion were taken looking over the wall just east of the intersection of 209. The RDCs from Pottsville i got just west of the station as they were departing. I want to say thank you to the steam crew and the car hosts for providing a great experience. Im addition, I want to thank Reading Blue Mountain and Northern president Andy Muller for restoring the 2102 and running excursions. I also want to thank the crews of the other operating trains along with the RBMN dispatchers. In addition, I'd like to thank the local police and the railroad police. And most importantly, I want to thank the car cleaners and the admistrative workers who work hard behind the scenes with little thanks for what they do. Thank you!
