Derivation of Impact Stress Due to Application of Axial Load (Continuation of previous video part 2)

In this video, we derive the expression for impact stress developed in a bar due to the sudden application of an axial load. The derivation explains how impact loading produces higher stress than a gradually applied load and how to calculate the maximum stress and elongation developed in the bar.
