In this week's video, we cover so much ground! This idea has been about six months in the making, and I'm thrilled to finally share it with you. Honestly, I couldn't be happier to wrap up our Irish adventure with this video. It wasn't planned this way, but it feels like the perfect way to close this chapter.
I'm incredibly proud of how this video turned out. While I go on a bit of a ramble at the start, let me sum it up for you here:
This video is about finding a deeper connection with the images I captured while in Ireland. Orla and I knew we'd be moving on to new adventures eventually, so I wanted to create photos that meant more to me than just the visuals — images that told a story or evoked a feeling.
I hope I've been able to translate that idea into this video. And if you're on the fence about visiting Ireland — whether for photography or just to experience its magic — I urge you to go. You won't regret it. It's absolutely beautiful!
In this video:
→ Finding connection with the Irish landscape
→ Exploring the ruins of Ireland — abandoned houses and golden light
→ Photographing the Northern Lights over Ireland
→ Capturing the green hills and pink hues of Ireland
→ Two of my favorite images from Ireland
→ Photographing where I grew up — finding connection at home
→ Overlooking Dublin city — a view of home
