Street Fighter Alpha 2 Playthrough (SNES) (I am a Muay Thai Master, YOU ARE A SUCKING BABY)

Playthrough of Street Fighter Alpha 2 on SNES as Adon, for a good reason. So yeah SNES Alpha 2, released around the same time as the more sensible ports on Playstation and Saturn. Some people really think that they should because they could I guess. Its not exactly a bad port but as you can see from Adon's trimmed down win animations, a lot had to be cut, including the entire Venezuela falls stage among others. Everything else made it in just fine tho. Though because of some sort of coding cockup, there's very noticeable load times between each round which starts to get annoying. Yeah, loading on a cartridge, amazing isn't it. Also the music is pretty poopy. Did I mention Alpha 1 never got put on SNES either? Putting Alpha 2 on it was such a weird decision. At least it plays decently enough. But also as its the US version I'm using, Sodom's name has been Hercule'd to "Katana" like the original SNES Final Fight port, glad we don't do that anymore. As for why I picked Adon it mostly has to do with Alpha 2's famous bonus boss, Shin Akuma. You can reach him by going through the game without losing a round, getting 3 perfects and I think a lot of super finishes. Just before your character's final boss, Shin Akuma barges in for a word. And yeah like in other versions of Alpha 2 he's a dickhead with the difficulty and attack stats jacked way up and the ability to time everything to counter you. I almost recorded a lamer playthrough without him until my good ol' pal ‪@RQ-87‬ suggested I try Adon, reporting that Shin Akuma has issues dealing with Adon's Jaguar Kick. And what do you know, it actually worked! You do kind of have to be in the right spot but if you are, you can spam HK Jaguar Kick and Akuma, trying to counter by jumping up and throwing double Zankus, WILL eat Adon's feet each time. He also has mild issues dealing with Adon's HK Jaguar Tooth as well. Everything after Shin Akuma is child's play in comparison. Oh and I also get Adon's rival fight with Bison. You get rival fights in this by finishing with super combos a lot. You can get them as early as the fourth fight if you finish every previous round with a super or custom combo of any kind. So yeah Sagat really is a fraud and Adon is the true Muay Thai god we all need.
