📌 Get "The Exit Code" Report : https://lazy.better-investor.co/hello... One dollar of monthly income for the rest of your life costs about $308 when you buy it by investing, at Morningstar's 2026 safe withdrawal rate of 3.9%. The same dollar costs about $150 through Social Security delay or an employer match, and about $54 when it comes from a credit card payment you stop making. In this video I look at money as a flow instead of a pile, price every source of lifetime income, and follow one ordinary couple, Greg and Ellen, 58, with $410,000 saved. Same salaries, same market, same savings: buying their income in a different order takes them from about $5,400 a month to about $7,700 a month at 70, and raises the survivor's Social Security check by about $1,000 a month. Greg and Ellen's projections assume 5% a year after inflation, in today's dollars.
