Pegboard Nerds - Gunpoint

"Gunpoint" is a prominent track by the Scandinavian electronic music duo Pegboard Nerds (Alexander Odden and Michael Parsberg). Released in February 2012, it holds a significant place in the duo's history as it marked their official debut release on the popular electronic music record label Monstercat. The track exists in a couple of distinct versions: • Gunpoint (VIP Mix): Released on 5 March 2012, this hard-hitting dubstep track served as their grand introduction to Monstercat and was featured on the compilation album Monstercat 006 - Embrace. • Gunpoint (Original / Edit): Released shortly before on 20 February 2012 through disco:wax, offering the base instrumental mix. Interestingly, the true original version of the track initially featured Danish rap vocals before being re-worked into the instrumental release.
