I Invited My Friends Over for Dinner… 🦐🤎 | Garlic Butter Prawns, Grilled Fish & Crispy Potatoes

I haven't had everyone over for dinner in a while. 🤎 So today I decided to change that. I sent a very simple message to my friends — “Dinner at mine tonight?” — and somehow that turned into three people arriving with grocery bags, Mochi following everyone around the apartment, and my kitchen becoming much louder than I'm used to. 😂 We made garlic butter prawns, grilled fish and the crispiest potatoes. The first batch of potatoes didn't exactly go according to plan, but we decided that slightly-too-crispy potatoes were still edible and made another batch anyway. The prawns were definitely the star of the evening. There was garlic everywhere, butter sizzling on the stove, someone constantly stealing food before dinner was ready, and way too much laughing for one kitchen. Eventually we all sat down, and for a little while nobody was checking the time or thinking about work. Just food, stories, music and people I love. After everyone left, the apartment felt strangely quiet. But it was the good kind of quiet. The kind where you look around and realize that your home now holds another beautiful memory.
