The Hardest Goodbye Yet | My Final Visit to the Carousel of Progress

Of all the goodbyes I've has to say in the theme parks, this one was by far the hardest one. In today's video, I take you guys along with me for one final ride on the current version of Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress before it closed for a year-long refurbishment. I show you guys the little outdoor queue and the entirety of the show. At the end, I take the time to talk about why I love this particular ride so much and my thoughts on the attraction's overhaul. When I heard the announcement towards the end of May, I was very mixed about the changes. The changes that Disney disclosed are that all of the show scenes and the eras they take place will a be completely redone with new eras plus a scene featuring a new Walt Disney animatronic. Despite my mixed feelings, I am remaining optimistic (albeit cautiously) that the new scenes will capture what made the old version so charming and hopeful. I do apologize that this video took a little bit of extra time to release: between the Fourth of July holiday and work I've been completely swamped so editing my longer vlogs has taken me longer than expected.
