Floods & Landslides in the Elgon Sub-region | ECHO Documentary

When floods and landslides strike communities in Eastern Uganda, responding quickly can make a major difference. The Crisis Modifier supported timely emergency action, helping affected families access urgent assistance and begin their recovery. This documentary captures how rapid response, local coordination, and existing community response systems came together to support vulnerable communities during times of crisis. The Crisis Modifier is part of the Early Warning, Early Action: Strengthening Multi-Hazard Disaster Preparedness in the Mt. Elgon Sub-region project, implemented by Oxfam in consortium with Caritas Tororo and Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS), with funding from European Commission Humanitarian Aid (ECHO).
