According to various local traditions, the coin samples from the Hathiwind mounds correspond to the reign of the Rajapuras and Alexander the Great, and some of the pottery samples found here are similar to the Indus Valley Civilization. ہاتھی ونڈ: ایک حیرت کدہ ء ضلع سرگودھا کا الف لیلوی گاؤں یہاں ون کے درختوں کا ایک چھوٹا سا جنگل ہے یہ پاکستان میں ون کے درختوں کا سب سے بڑا اور قدیم ذخیرہ ہے جسکی عمر پندرہ سو سال سے بھی زیادہ قدیم ہو سکتی ہے یہاں دوپہر میں بھی رات کے ڈراؤنے خواب جیسا خوف اور جادو نگری کی طرح پراسراریت چھائی رہتی ہے، صدیوں پرانی قدیم  برتنوں سے ڈھکی خاموش قبریں، ون کے درختوں کی شاخوں پر لٹکتی جنگلی بیلیں کے درمیان  چڑیوں کی  چہچہاہٹ اور فاختہ کی آواز، کوئل کی کوکو،  دو رویہ گھنے درختوں کے بیچوں بیچ کچے راستے،  کئی سو سال قدیم  ون کے درختوں کی مہربان چھاؤں میں بیٹھ کر ایسے محسوس ہوتا جیسے ہم الف لیلوی دھرتی پر آ گئے ہوں ہاتھی ونڈ مجھے اس لیے بھی اچھا لگتا ہے کہ اس کی زرخیز دھرتی میں میاں عبدالمناف الدین رحمت اللہ علیہ جیسے راہ سلوک کے مسافر اور بابا فضل کریم جہلمی جیسے نیک دل بزرگ اس جنگل کے بیچوں بیچ آسودہ خاک ہیں۔ یہ چھوٹا سا گاؤں اس لیے بھی میرے دل میں بستا ہے کہ یہاں جٹوں کے مشہور قبیلہ گوندل کے جد امجد بابا گھنیوں نے صدیوں پہلے ایک طاقتور راجہ ہاتھی خان گجر کو ایک جنگی حکمت عملی کے ذریعے  شکست سے دوچار کیا تھا۔ صدیوں سے یہ گاؤں گوندل قوم کا مرکز ہے جو ضلع سرگودھا  اور منڈی بہاوالدین کے علاقوں پہ مشتمل گوندل بار میں چھائی ہوئی۔بابا گھنیوں کے یہ بیٹےپنجاب کی سب سے بڑی دشمنیوں کو نبھاتے ہوئے  پنجاب کی جوڈیشری، بیوروکریسی ، اسمبلی سے پاکستانی پارلیمنٹ اور وہاں سے دنیا کے چھ براعظموں میں پہنچے ہوئے ہیں بھلوال شہر اور بھیرہ کو ملانے والی سڑک پر موجود ہاتھی ونڈ امتدادِ زمانہ کے بے رحم ہاتھوں کئی بار اجڑا اور کئی بار آباد ہوا۔ اب یہ تحصیل بھلوال  ایک موضع کی حیثیت رکھتا ہے۔ ایک روایت کے مطابق،   جب اس علاقہ پر سلطان محمود غزنوی کی حکومت تھی تو اس مقام کو غزنوی حکومت کے پیغامات اور کارگو کو کابل اور دہلی کے درمیان رواں دواں رکھنے کے لیے ھاتھوں اور گھوڑوں کی سکونت اور تقسیم کارکے لئے مختص کیا گیا تھا ۔ ونڈ پنجابی میں تقسیم کو کہتے ہیں لہذا آہستہ آہستہ اس کا نام ہاتھی ونڈ  اور بعد ازاں ہاتھی ونڈ پڑ گیا۔ اس ون کے جنگل سے متصل گاؤں ہاتھی ونڈ کے نیچے ایک نمونے انڈس ویلی سویلیزشن سے مشابہت رکھتے ہیں۔ #nature #vlog #ancientplaces #spiritualhealing #birds #sargodha #sargodhahistroy #bhalwal #bhera #gondal
