Unreal Tournament Duel HateBreeD vs Husterz Masters League Groupstage

HateBreeD vs Husterz in the UT2004 Duel Masters League Season 4! This is actually the third time Husterz and I have crossed paths recently, and our first two encounters were... unusual. 😂 Husterz is a strong player from South America and, fun fact, he's also Fires' cousin, who I recently played in another close Masters League series. Our first two games never really reached a proper conclusion. The first time, I got frustrated dealing with the high-ping Shock Rifle knockback and left. The second time, I built a large early lead, got frustrated again with the style of the match, and left that one too. Neither was a great display of patience, something about UT2004 triggers me fast. It's been about a month since then, so when we finally met in Masters League, I was genuinely curious to see how the matchup would play out. Map 1: DM-Rankin I was able to establish strong control around the Shock Rifle, and built a solid lead through the first ten minutes. Once Husterz finally broke the control with about five minutes remaining, the match changed completely. Rather than continuing to take unnecessary fights, I saw the clock and the score and knew I could win from here. I slowed everything down, spam where I think he's going, avoided dangerous engagements and forced Husterz to chase me down while the clock ran down, delaying enough time between deaths to win in the end. Map 2: DM-1on1-Lea I was able to establish control quickly again and built a 7-frag lead within the opening few minutes. This time Husterz decided the comeback wasn't there and conceded the map. GG to Husterz. After two previous encounters that I personally didn't handle particularly well, I'm glad we finally got to play this one out properly in Masters League.
