During her years living in New York, she became an active part of the city's underground club scene, performing and recording mixes for platforms including Book Club Radio. In recent years, her appearances have expanded across clubs, parties and radio platforms in New York, Thailand and Japan, moving fluidly between different cultural contexts and dancefloors. Influenced by the diverse cities, communities and sound cultures she has been immersed in, Ziyi's approach to DJing resists fixed genre boundaries, instead exploring connection and movement through a wide spectrum of rhythmic languages. Her sets often begin with restrained atmospheres and minimal grooves before gradually unfolding into deeper low-end textures and more driving rhythmic structures, naturally evolving toward moments of higher dancefloor intensity. Constantly responding to the energy of the room, she shapes each set as an organic flow between immersion and momentum.
