Cairo vs Godby (FL) (2022 Season)

After a heartbreaking loss to the Thomasville Bulldogs last week (lost 36-27), Cairo is looking to bounce back. Cairo now faces the Godby Cougars of Tallahassee, Florida for the first time in school history. It is a battle of North Florida vs South Georgia. The Godby Cougars enter this game with an 0-2 record with losses to Lincoln (Tallahassee) and Madison County, two traditionally powerful football teams. The Big Bend area is filled with talented athletes, and Godby is no different. Dating back to last season, Cairo is currently 2-0 against Florida schools (beat Escambia and Merritt Island last season). Will Cairo be able to continue that winning streak against Godby?
