"An unrequited love thing" "I don't have those feelings for you anymore" For fear of losing my dedication to the upcoming ramble I'm just gonna put it here:    / skromerylove   Even though this is only my third vid, since I'm fairly proud of it, I am dedicating it to skromerylove (sorry it's such a depressing one, haha) - you've been so supportive, I couldn't believe it when such a crazy-talented vidder subbed me back after my first attempt at a fanvid, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I can't wait to see your next Westallen vid!! ________________________ I'm very late with this (again) because I'm like the slowest vidder in the world right now, but better late than never, right? So I originally was planning for my next vid to be something very different (i.e., not as depressing), but man, that last episode…still crying…gee writers why don't you just go and STAB A SWORD THROUGH MY HEART like Felicity did to Oliver… "I don't want to be a woman that you love" "I don't have those feelings for you anymore." DEADDDD I think my next vid is going to have to be a humor one, otherwise I'm going to drown in a pool of Westallen tears and I know I've said I like angst but sometimes it can get a little too much and enough is enough…okay, writers? Okayyy? Because I'm certainly NOT okay. Let's just all commiserate about our poor little babies together, alright? HUGS "At first it was scary, but then it was better. IT WILL GET BETTER…" ________________________ The one good thing about the Westallen dynamic in this episode was that it perfectly paralleled Olicity in 3x07 - Oliver/Iris has made it clear that they are unavailable for Felicity/Barry, Felicity/Barry get hurt and finally decide to move on and say they're going on a date, Oliver/Iris are a bit annoyed/awkward about it because somehow they expect their friend to not be with them, but also to not be with anyone else (Barry hit the nail on the head when he called Iris out for that), which is totally unfair. And then Oliver/Iris see Felicity/Barry kissing Ray/Linda and get super heartbroken.* Damn, I really need to make a Olicity+Westallen vid - the parallels are just killing me. And I almost forgot - the other cool thing was that they called back to 1x01 when Barry came so close to declaring his love for Iris…and before he did he accidentally called her his GIRLFRIEND - "who I'm not dating…YET" - he was totally planning on telling her that night! Which makes it that much sadder that he didn't get to and then the coma and Eddie happened and now Linda and gahh it just breaks my heart. *Edit: Upon rereading this, I feel like I may have been a bit harsh on Iris, and I just want to make it clear that I love Iris, and can completely see her side of things.
