Hey there, I'm Nate or D2Wild4Ever here on the internet. I make gaming videos, most often in the let's play format. I usually focus on strategy and indie games, but I tend to record whatever really takes my fancy at the time. If you're interested in the commentary I provide be sure to tune in as I try very hard to release new videos each and every weekday. Thanks for watching the video above and also for taking the time to read this and hopefully I'll see you next time.
Deadzone: Rogue is a roguelite first-person shooter set in space, combining fast-paced combat, customizable loadouts, and cooperative gameplay across multiple zones.
Gameplay and Mechanics
Deadzone: Rogue is a roguelite FPS where players battle swarms of hostile machines aboard the ISS-X and other locations, either solo or in co-op with up to three players
Each run is unique, with procedurally generated sectors, waves of enemies, and powerful bosses every ten sectors. Players can mark enemies for focused fire, synchronize grenade strikes, and adapt combat strategies using stealth, ranged attacks, or melee
The game features over 30 weapons, each modifiable with elemental affixes like fire, ice, shock, or void, allowing for diverse combat styles. Notable weapons include the PR20x Pulsar (automatic rifle), MP-18L Revenant (precision AR), VLR Arcblade (SMG), T30 Nova Burst (shotgun), and VLR-Tempest (heavy weapon), each suited for different builds and strategies
. Players can also equip augments, perks, and superior items to enhance their abilities during runs, with some upgrades being permanent across runs
Story and Zones
Players awaken aboard the ISS-X with no memory, uncovering fragments of their past while fighting rogue machines
The game is divided into zones, each containing 30 sectors and a boss every ten sectors. Zone 1 introduces the story, while Zones 2 and 3 expand gameplay with new missions, items, and synergies. Zone 4 is scheduled for release in early 2026
The narrative blends mystery and action, gradually revealing the player character’s identity and the fate of the colonists.
Progression and Difficulty
Deadzone: Rogue offers five difficulty levels: Adventure (relaxed), Normal, Hard, Expert, and Nightmare, allowing players to tailor the challenge
Players earn Scrap, Tech, and Item Components to upgrade weapons, unlock permanent tech masteries, and enhance superior items. Augments and perks provide run-specific benefits, while synergies between items, perks, and augments unlock advanced strategies starting from Zone 3
