Zaloum | CKCU Office Jams

The very first episode of Office Jams! Every few weeks, our favourite artists take over CKCU’s offices to perform a few songs and chat with us! Our in-studio audience gets to see it all up close, but watching on YouTube is the next best thing! Who will drop by next? Will they put together a special set just for us? Anything can happen on Office Jams, so keep an eye out for the latest episodes! Our first guests... "Zaloum is the brand-new official band of Simon Zaloum. Based in Ottawa, they play many originals from sappy love songs to straight funk and blues. Simon, the band leader and songwriter, has a few songs out on streaming platforms and plans on releasing more music in the coming months. The band features Simon Zaloum on guitar and vocals, Marko Culf on saxophone, Josh Hewlett on bass, and Daniel Gracie on piano (all four are Carleton music students), as well as Sebastian Cortes on drums and Juliana Drayton on backup vocals." This is the group's first performance together as a band!
