Hyphen Dash & No Time For Swing present a full version of the live video for “Krut'ky”, part of the new Hyphen Dash release Basement 626. Basement 626 is a new improvisational album by members of the Ukrainian contemporary jazz band Hyphen Dash. Recorded during explosions in a military basement in Kramatorsk — just 15 km from the frontline — it captures the raw emotions of a city on the brink. Find it on streaming platforms and Bandcamp, where all proceeds will support urgent rehabilitation for those affected by the war. In January, experimental jazz duo Myshko Birchenko and Yevhen Puhachov traveled to Kramatorsk with no pre-written material, using music to channel the intensity of life at the edge of survival and explore its therapeutic power amid war.
