Inspired by Cathy: the sketches | No Speaking | ASMR Step by Step

This is an homage to Cathy Guisewite. I 'm giving her character, Cathy, a more modern look. These are the sketches for the illustration. The final art will be on Wednesday. Sketch to Art is an ASMR step by step quiet, intuitive approach to drawing. Simple sketches slowly evolve into finished pieces of art through transparent layers. On this channel, you’ll watch the entire creative process from start to finish. No shortcuts. No rushed edits. Just the natural progression of lines, values, and color building calmly over time. Every video is silent. Sketch to Art is about seeing, feeling, and trusting the process. New videos explore different subjects and techniques, with future plans for structured, topic-by-topic art courses built on the same layered intuition method. Each video focuses on: • Starting from a raw sketch • Gradually refining the drawing using transparency • Letting the artwork reveal itself layer by layer • Creating a peaceful, ASMR-style viewing experience Whether you are a beginner, a returning artist, or simply someone who enjoys watching art come to life, this channel is a place to slow down and reconnect with drawing. Welcome to Sketch to Art. Start with a sketch. Let it become art.
