Microphone choices in a home studio: why I use a Sennheiser MD441-U

I get to use a Sennheiser MD441-U microphone regularly in my home studio - I particularly like it when I'm recording a band live in my house. It has great polar pattern specifications, and other features, that make it ideal for that setting.
