You saved the plan. Watched the tutorial. Imagined the result. So why is the first step still waiting?
Preparation can help you begin. It can also become a comfortable place to stay. This HUMAN//OS episode explores four places where that happens—watching, planning, announcing and imagining—and how to turn one of them into a small attempt that teaches you something real.
We look at research on observational learning, specific plans, identity-related intentions, positive fantasies and procrastination, while keeping the limits of those findings clear. Learning, planning, hope and support still matter. The question is what they help you do next.
Which one is your waiting room? Choose a real example, try one small action when it fits your circumstances, and tell us what you learned.

The practical experiment in this video is an adaptable exercise, not a guaranteed result. The progress bars are a metaphor, not a measurement of brain activity.
