Fire Up 611! (Part 2: The Blue Ridge Special - Spencer, NC to Asheville, NC)

The N&W J Class steam locomotive #611 led a series of excursion trips in the Spring/Summer of 2016. Here is my two part series of the chase of the 611 with the help of the NS Southern heritage unit #8098 and Spencer's own Southern FP7A #6133. Enjoy the sights and sounds of 611 as it kicks off its 2016 excursion season in early April inside the Blue Ridge Mountain Range.
