“WHO’S REALLY #1?!” Max Kellerman SETTLES Naoya Inoue vs Shakur Stevenson P4P Debate! Max Kellerman has weighed in on the Naoya Inoue vs Shakur Stevenson pound-for-pound debate, and his argument comes down to skills versus résumé. Kellerman says he suspects Shakur may be the best pure fighter in boxing right now, but admits the actual body of work still favors Inoue because of everything “The Monster” has accomplished across multiple weight classes. Shakur’s dominant win over Teofimo Lopez pushed him deeper into the elite P4P conversation, but Inoue still owns the stronger championship résumé and more proven accomplishments at the highest level. So Kellerman’s position is basically: Shakur may have the better eye-test case, while Inoue still has the stronger proof.
