Sensing Boundary Layers of Unknown Performance

Focusing on sensing turbulent, unhinged, and unknown patterns taking place in the immediate outdoor settings of our surrounding environment and articulating them through sonic means, the project was initially made and developed in Amsterdam Westpoort, Zaandam, Seoul, and Jeju, where I have been actively collecting field recordings and qualitative sensory data of siting and encountering haunting traces of turbulent air flows of the local environment to initiate physical engagement with local landmarks and organizations with an unknown to complex local history and context. The performance was made with custom built acoustic radar that probes the room's acoustic resonance and feedback.
