The car's 4th generation has a 3 liter Inline 6 cylinder twin-turbocharged engine with 206 kW (276 hp, 280 metric hp). The greatest thing about Supra, its engine, 2JZ-GTE... Due to Japan Car Manufacturers Agreement (Japan Dumps 276-hp Pact) in those years, the engine generates only 276 hp with its stock state but its capabilities were way beyond that power. As the years pass by Toyota Supra RZ became more and more popular because of its engine, 2JZ-GTE with some modifications like instead of 2 small turbochargers, using single but huge turbocharger the engine can generate more than 2000 hp even up to 3000 hp. One of the most popular design is from the movie serie Fast and Furious, Brian O'Conner's (Paul Walker) Supra when he raced with Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) 1970 Dodge Charger R/T.
