If you've been watching smt lore long enough you'll know this, but if there's one thing I've learned from making this series and playing the smt and persona games, it's that there's always more to learn, especially about angels and demons. Even in my own religion and the entirety of the abrahamic faiths as a hole, there is so much to learn, even for a person who grew up with it. When it comes to demons, it seems there is an endless treasure trove of unique, and horrifying entities. The word itself brings to mind something unique to each person that hears it. The word angel though elicits less fantastical imagery. Usually an angel is seen as nothing more than a human with lily white wings and a halo, and to those who dig a little bit deeper, maybe they are aware of the biblically accurate angels floating around. The most common depictions are rarely the most accurate however. With Abrahamic religions being so prolific and inspiring many other spiritual practices, there’s much more to the holy side of the divine spectrum than many might initially think. Let’s go over just a few angelic beings, from many religions, that have been forgotten to time and learn more about the roles they serve in each one. Going over Aniel, Kazfiel, Camael, and the Zoroastrian Sraosha, my mind feels like it was expanded tenfold with divine light.
