🌍 What if gravity rose 1% every second? From a quiet street to a black hole in ten minutes.
Earth gets 1% heavier every second, and nothing else changes. We watch a neighbourhood, a bridge town, two cities, a forest valley, the coast and a pyramid, then the whole planet and the Moon from space. Everything happens in real time, except for a short slow-motion ending.
🔥 At 72 °C (162 °F), the air is already cooking the leaves and the grass
🏙️ At less than three times normal weight, the towers fall straight down
🌋 At 100 times normal gravity, no hill can stand taller than about 90 m (300 feet)
🛰️ Satellites fall in, the fastest at about 2,700 km a second (1,700 miles a second)
🌑 The Moon is pulled in and hits at about half the speed of light
📐 What we assume
Only the weight changes: Earth keeps its size, its air and its rocks. Apart from the rising gravity, everything shown is real physics; only the camera floats. Past about 10,000 times normal gravity, the numbers are estimates based on real data.
