# 010 — Hide and Seek Alone

010 —Hide and Seek Alone The story in this video is based on “Hide and Seek Alone” — a ritual from Japanese internet folklore that spread through Japanese online message boards. The ritual is said to involve performing a game of hide-and-seek alone, using a stuffed doll as the opponent. According to the legend, the game can invite something unseen into your home. Those who attempt the ritual are warned never to take it lightly — and never to assume that they are truly alone. This video is a fictional adaptation of the original legend, with the story and events reimagined for Nightmare Japan. Welcome to Nightmare Japan.
