Cadillac 472 Valve Covers - Painting, Straightening, Gaskets

#impalamansgarage This car developed a fairly serious oil leak from the valve cover gaskets recently. In this video we will straighten and paint the valve covers on the 71 Coupe Deville. This is the first time I've taken the covers off since I purchased the car in 2016. I was trying to pare this video down but the more I got into it, I realized there was more to the story. When it comes to maintaining an original unrestored car it takes more work in general. Example: I could have installed chrome after market valve covers in 5 minutes.
