A6 Chair or A12 Chair Backrest Installation. Starting in 2021 we started using a 4 velcro backrest installation method. If installed correctly the 4 velcros will securely hold the Backrest in place without fail. The heavy duty commercial velcros by 3M will allow perfect support and stability for the backrest. When installing the backrest first recline the chair to the fully reclined position to allow full leverage to secure the velcros to the upholstery. After lining up the backrest velcros to the velcros on the metal plate, using a fist or elbow push down the backrest to secure the velcros. You will hear a click with each backrest being secured in place. Once complete the backrest will stay in place and will not fall off unless significant force is used.
