In this insightful video series, we delve into the diverse women voices of West Harlem's literary community. Our third guest, Laura Bowman, is a multifaceted artist who works with poetry, theater and children literature. Laura’s work aims at giving hope to all people going through difficult situations and is especially addressed to a Black audience. She encourages young writers to write regularly, every day if possible. Her poem “Heartbeat” is a call to self discovery and acceptance.
