When a Painting Leaves the Studio... 🌾 (Slow Vlog)

Two paintings have left my studio and begun their journey to a new home in the Algarve, Portugal. While I am deeply grateful whenever my artwork sells, saying goodbye is never entirely easy. Over time, paintings become quiet companions. They witness seasons, creative struggles, moments of inspiration, and everyday life in the studio. And when they leave, it often feels like the closing of a chapter. In this slow studio vlog, I share the process of packing two original paintings, reflections on letting go, time spent in the garden, and thoughts on gratitude, self-worth, and what it means to create and share art in today's world. Thank you for joining me for this gentle moment of pause and reflection. 🌿 Featured paintings: • The Dryad • Blooming Summer 🎨 Topics in this video: • Slow studio vlog • Life as an artist • Original paintings sold • Packing artwork for shipping • Creative reflections • Garden inspiration • Nature and creativity • Living as a full-time artist Timestamps: 00:00 I sold two paintings 01:55 Summer Mornings in the Garden 03:45 Studio Moments 06:53 Gratitude versus Doubt 09:03 Thank You for your Support ✨ Support my work on Ko-fi: https://www.ko-fi.com/studionorthbound Your support helps me continue creating art, sharing studio vlogs, and documenting this creative journey.
