AUSTRALIA'S GREATEST NOSTALGIA DRAGS | Bangers and Mash 2025 | Backyardbuilds

This week Tom and Saxon head out to Bangers & Mash — the ultimate nostalgia drag racing event at Sydney Dragway. It’s a full weekend of old-school horsepower, where hot rods, gassers and front-engine dragsters bring the golden era of drag racing back to life. From smoky burnouts to ear-splitting launches, the air is thick with nostalgia (and tyre smoke). Tom and Saxon check out everything from wild nitro altereds to classic Aussie muscle, chat with racers keeping the old ways alive, and get up close with some truly beautiful builds. It’s loud, it’s chaotic, and it’s pure vintage fun — the perfect mix of bangers, mash, and mayhem.
