9 Hours in Doha Airport | Was It Worth It?

We flew Qatar Airways Economy from Houston (IAH) to Doha (DOH), followed by a 9-hour layover at Hamad International Airport. So what is it actually like spending that long flying economy — and then another 9 hours inside one of the world's most famous airports? In this first installment of our Thailand journey, we take you along from Houston to Doha aboard Qatar Airways, show you the economy-class experience, meals and entertainment, and then explore Hamad International Airport during our long connection. And with nine hours to kill, we weren't about to spend the entire time sitting at the gate. We explore Hamad International Airport, check out some of its unusual art and attractions, wander through the massive terminal and indoor garden, and eventually find a place to get some much-needed sleep before continuing on to Bangkok.
