Ha le mpotsa tshepo ya ka, (When you ask me what my hope is) Ke tla re, ke Jesu; (I will tell you that it’s Jesus) Ka lapetse ho mo aka; Ha hae ke haeso. (I belong to Him) Le re, ke bone’ng ho eena? (What did i see in Him) Ke bone phomolo; ( I found rest) Thabo e leng ho Morena (The joy that is found in Him) Ha e na phetoho. (is unchanging) Ka na ka nyorelwa botle, (I thirsted for beauty) Ka tswa tswa ke batla, Ka tsielwa ke ntho tsohle, (and had everything taken away from me) Ka fellwa ke matla. (and i lost all my strength) Athe Jesu o n’a mpona (Amazingly Jesus saw me) Ha ke lela jwalo; (While I constantly cried) A mpitsa a re: Tlo ho ‘na, (He called and said to me: `come to me’) U fole matswalo. (And heal from your anxiety) Jwale ke khotshe ka mehla (I am now always filled) Mohau wa Modimo; (with the grace of God) Ke qadile ho iketla (i am now enjoying) Tshepong ya hodimo. (the heavenly hope)
