WILD COSTA RICA - We Returned to COSTA RICA After 4 Years! (Why We Keep Coming Back)

After four long years, we are finally back in one of our favorite countries on Earth: Costa Rica! Join us for the full story of our epic adventure, exploring everything from the vibrant central highlands to the wild coastlines of both the Caribbean and the Pacific. Our journey begins in the capital, San José, where we adjust to the tropical climate and explore the festive atmosphere and local coffee scene. We visit the historic city of Carthago before driving through the stunning volcano landscapes and coffee plantations on our way to La Fortuna, where a fantastic guide helps us spot incredible wildlife, including a rare green vine snake. Then, it's time to head east! We travel to the lush Caribbean coast, checking into an incredible jungle lodge where howler monkeys and toucans are our morning alarm clock. We take you along for a thrilling night walk in Cahuita and soak up the unique Pura Vida vibe of the coast. From there, we journey all the way across the country to the Pacific. We go birding in the mangroves before returning to a place that has a special spot in our hearts: Uvita. It’s even better than we remembered! We share our travel hack for a free beach, get caught in a magical warm rainstorm, connect with amazing locals to learn about chocolate and fishing, and witness the most epic New Year's Eve sunset of our lives. Finally, we end our trip just as we did last time, by retreating to the cool, fresh air of the Talamanca Mountains to relax and reflect on an unforgettable journey. 💬 This was a long one!
