Why can a siphon start when water crosses a high bend, yet keep draining well below that starting mark? Follow priming, a liquid-filled route to a lower outlet, and the air break that resets a flush siphon. Actual experimental footage is distinguished from original explanatory models and chosen calculations.
00 The level falls below the starting point
55 Watch a real flush siphon
54 One level can have two histories
47 Uphill locally, downhill overall
48 Pressure along the route
54 Air provides the reset
59 A steady supply can make a cycle
06 A pressure limit is a different question
12 Read the state, not just the height
