5-Minute Prayer for Protection | God, Cover Me and My Family Today

Before we step into a day we’ve never seen before, we can place ourselves and the people we love into the hands of the God who already knows what lies ahead. I’m O, and here at Meet God Right Here, we have just one rule—to come as you are. Today, we’re praying for God’s protection over our lives, families, homes, minds, decisions, and everything beyond our control. We’re also asking for discernment to recognize that God’s protection may not always look like rescue. It may look like a closed door, an unexpected delay, a change in direction, or the wisdom to know when something simply isn’t right. Psalm 121:7–8 reminds us that the Lord preserves our going out and our coming in.
