Are You a Fan or a Follower?

Are you a fan of Jesus—or are you actually following Him? In Week 2 of From the Ground Up, we look at Jesus’ words in Matthew 16:24–26 and discover that following Jesus is more than knowing about Him, going to church, or singing worship songs. Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. Following Jesus means surrendering control. It means trusting His plan over ours. And sometimes, it means letting Jesus change the parts of us we’d rather hold onto. Jesus loves you enough to meet you right where you are—but He loves you way too much to leave you there.
