The Heart God Seeks | Week 14: A Called Heart That Still Needs Transformation | 1 Samuel 9:1-27

The Heart God Seeks | Week 14: A Called Heart That Still Needs Transformation 📖 Scripture: 1 Samuel 9:1-27 God’s Calling Is Only the Beginning God’s calling is the beginning of His work in us, not the completion. Saul was chosen by God and given the opportunity to lead His people, yet God still had much to shape within him. His story reminds us that calling and transformation must always go together. God does not call us because we are already complete. He calls us by His grace and patiently transforms us, using every season to deepen our faith, refine our character, and teach us greater dependence on Him. It is easy to focus on what we can accomplish while overlooking who we are becoming. But God is more concerned with the condition of our hearts than with outward success. He desires hearts that are humble, teachable, obedient, and willing to grow. Today, thank God for His calling on your life and invite Him to continue His transforming work within you. The One who calls you is faithful to complete the work He has begun.
