S2026.E7 - Double split: from one hive to three

May 13th 2026 Today, we are back at the apiary with the idea of splitting a single hive twice to make a total of three. The hive was already split once a couple weeks ago. During last visit two weeks ago, I left a few undrawn frames throughout the hive, and that may have hindered the colony. There are now a few empty swarm cells there were not there earlier. We manage to find enough brood frames, eggs, pollen and honey to complete the double split. Hopefully, we did not speed up the death of all three hives by splitting them that way.
