In this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes as I prepare for my eKhaya Dinner Residency in Atlanta — from putting the menu and experience together, to figuring things out in a new city, and even turning to TikTok to ask for help when I needed it. Building something from the ground up isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes it means asking questions, asking for help, trusting strangers on the internet 😂 and simply finding a way to make it happen. eKhaya means “home” in isiZulu, and this dinner series is my way of bringing a piece of South Africa to the table while exploring the connection between South African food, the American South, storytelling and community.
